To have real live musicians making real music takes real time, skill, and expense. And to make really good music requires a lot of time, skill, and expense.

 

As professional musicians we make part of our income in the same way other service workers do - through tips. We use it to feed our kids and pay our bills. Without it we can't play - and you can't enjoy - music at this level. When real musicians can't make a living, then things like AI generated music are all that's left. It's as simple as that.
